Description:
Remington Rand 7 noiseless
French assembled typewriter from American made parts.
Amazing experience typing on a noiseless. I really like it.
I replaced missing letters on keys with a blend of white and peach wax crayon, the heat of your finger blends in the wax. The white crayon on its own was too blue looking, so a blend of peach and white looks antique. Finished with a layer of carnauba wax which provides a protective layer to prevent wax being removed.

As a young child, I always enjoyed taking things apart and seeing how they functioned.
I have been collecting a range of vintage typewriters for over two years.
Previously, I was interested in restoring sewing machines, then I acquired my mothers Olivetti Dora and looked under the hood and typed, I was hooked on typewriters and how they worked.
