Remington Portable #2 manufactured July 1925 by serial number (stamped on back right of frame). Replaced cracked platen and feed rollers with layered polyolefin heat shrink tubing with good results. This typewriter has a mysterious "TS" key/slug. Could it be a currency symbol?
