Description:

Part of a group of three Robotron 20 produced at the end of 1980 and never used.
This has been removed from the box, but it has still all the safety items to avoid damages during transport.
The typewriter were delivered to a Romanian ministry.
A second Model 20 is still in the box; the typewriter were first put in plastic bag, than put in a the carton box that were finally filled with expanding foam.
That means that to remove the typewriter the box has to be destroyed, which I am careful not to do....

The return lever is safely fixed to the paper bail

The carriage is blocked by a screw inside, and additional external protection to the rails were provided on both sides

The platen knobs were not installed. Here is visible the rubber protection of the plastic side element were in contact with the return lever

The segment is also blocked on both sides with plastic lenemnts

Key bar protection made of heavy cardboard.

The second Robotron 20 in the box. Beside, an Optima 18 for parts that was part of the bargain.
