Bought this after reading on the Oz Typewriter Blog that there could be a connection between this typewriter and Torpedo Typewriters. I don't know if that is true but I can tell you that this is a very snappy typewriter and since I haven't typed on a Torpedo yet I don't have a point of comparison.
