Description:
The Premier is a classic slight of hand. On first appearance it looks the part of a premier machine with its compact form and elegant lines that are both modern and retro at the same time. However, it only takes a second look to realize that you've been duped and that there's really nothing premier about it.
This model is an absolute bare bones build, and what appears to be a stripped-down version of the Envoy II. Its plastic body creaks and protests while its being used, and although its action is wonderfully light, it's also somewhat vague.
To sum up, the Premier is good from afar, but far from good.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Premier on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Premier By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
