Description:
Less Optima - more Erika - I only bought this rebadged Model 10 because I have a soft spot for Optima, and because my Erika Model 10 doesn't have a tabulator. I've read claims that this is a rare model, but that hasn't been my experience with them. I've seen other Humber 88s being offered for sale, locally, and in other colours too.
As for its performance, it's definitely a step down from the Olympia-based Optima models, but still a decent enough typewriter for occasional use.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Optima Humber 88 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Optima Serial Number page and the Optima Humber 88 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
