Description:
This was a free machine that was going to get thrown out. It had a jammed carriage and looked very bad.
I cleaned it up and got the carriage moving. I corrected interference from the tab set/clear system that had jammed the carriage.
The machine was missing the top cover plate, so I bought a replacement cover from an S-C Silent.
Basket shift.
Serial number is located under the ribbon cover by the left ribbon spool.
Cleaned and lubricated, this is a wonderful typer. I love its solid touch and quiet operation. A keeper.
