Though I am told the Olympia is the superior machine, I find my emotions leaning towards the Optima. Heavy, chunky metal with plastic, chunky keys and a definite clopping of action, it is from, perhaps, the wrong side of the wall, but I still enjoy it.

Call me Papa. Some time ago, never mind how long precisely, I decided to buy a typewriter. I think it was a Royal, but as way led on to way, it got away from me. I got older.
Now, I am but an humble collector of archaic writing machines. Rather than indiscriminately gathering them hither and thither, I painstakingly choose the next one, and all are used for epistolary endeavors.
