Bought on the local Craigslist from a fellow whose grandmother had purchased it new with the intent of using it. Something apparently happened to her as it was never used, but stored. Like new condition.

I decided that I wanted to find the one typewriter that I remembered my mom using to type my term papers in school. Even though we couldn't find it, I found that I enjoyed typewriters and started a collection. It extended to rescuing the ones in my parents' basement a week before it flooded.

I enjoy making machines work and especially like to use the Smith Premier typewriters.
