Description:
Can I just say that Remington did itself no favors with eliminating the letter "W" from the Quiet-Riter, Travel-Riter, and Sky-Riter? I know they couldn't have anticipated things like autocorrect, but damn!!
Anyway, here's a nice Travel-Riter, made in Holland in 1956. I'm a bit disappointed in its lack of functionality, including basic ribbon-color select. But for what it does, it does pretty well.
Purchased from a fellow typewriter enthusiast in Royersford, PA in October, 2024.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Travel-Riter on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Travel-Riter By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
