Carriage and body have the same S/N. This machine came to me along with an IBM Selectric II when I went to church with my mom on 17 or 24 July 2022. I had no idea I would be coming home with two typewriters that day.

I decided that I wanted to find the one typewriter that I remembered my mom using to type my term papers in school. Even though we couldn't find it, I found that I enjoyed typewriters and started a collection. It extended to rescuing the ones in my parents' basement a week before it flooded.
I enjoy making machines work and especially like to use the Smith Premier typewriters.
