I noticed within the Database that there's entries for both a "Remington Portable Without Tabulator" as well as an entry for a "Remington Non Tab. Portable." Both these machines appear to be identical (as well as being identical to the earlier "All New" model), however the Database lists the "Non Tab. Portable" with the serial numbers of ANXXXXXX as well as EANXXXXXX, where as the "Portable Without Tabulator" is listed with just numbers starting as ANXXXXXX. As such, I've labelled this as a "Non Tab. Portable" because the serial is listed as EAN143464.

It's a little unclear what the distinction is between the models and serial numbers, but maybe it has to do with where they were manufactured. This machine was "Assembled in UK from parts of UK and USA origin," so perhaps that's why it ended up with a serial of EAN as opposed to AN.

Anyway, I reconditioned this machine and it types excellent. This particular machine has Elite size type, and it really does feel great to use. One thing I don't care for is having the backspace on the left, and as stated in the name, it has no tab function. It's built solid as a rock and is quite heavy, weighing over 20lbs in the case.
