Description:
Another one of my ShopGoodwill scores. Was a complete stab in the dark as the photos were bad, but after I got it cleaned up I was stunned to find a very nicely preserved Noiseless under all the eraser crumbs and dust bunnies. I’ve wanted a Noiseless for awhile simply based on aesthetics alone, but after owning and typing on this awhile I can say they are excellent typers in their own right. These machines truly have a touch all their own, and not in a bad way in my opinion. Platen on this one is hard as granite, yet true to its name, the sound it makes is rather subdued. I originally had a new Baco nylon ribbon in it, but the imprint was a little lacking. So I switched to a new silk ribbon from Ribbons Unlimited and was rewarded with a nice dark imprint!
