Description:
I bought this machine from the son of the owner and operator a horse meat processing plant that ran into the 1990s in Alberta, Canada. It had been taken out of service in the 1970s due to a broken link and placed in the attic of the businessā office building where it remained until the late 1990s when the son took it home as a display piece. In March of 2024, I purchased it, manufactured a new link and gave it a good cleaning followed by lubrication. Other than the odd skip and crowding (I will attempt adjustments later) this typewriter is fully functional again after 50 years.

I enjoy restoring and using a variety of antiques. As of late, typewriters are among them. I have really enjoyed using them to send letters to friends.
