Description:
As I purchased another machine at an online-auction for € 1,00 the seller offered me two more typewriters for free. One of those was this bulky Royal KMM with American typeface, magic margin and some minor issues. An offer I couldn't refuse.

Actually working with computers in my professional life I take the old mechanics as a compensation. I prefer machines manufactured before WWII, but I don't despise beautiful and good working typewriters from the fifties and sixties like e.g. the Olympia Splendid.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal KMM on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal KMM By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
