Description:
#484
Finally found a good one... The other one is a wall hanging. This is a true depression machine (some say it was for students) only one (left side) shift key (without lock), no bell, and no carriage advance. This serial number is only 53 away from my other one (the wall art).

"I was born in a crossfire hurricane"...
A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.
I have an MFA in 3D Digital Sculpture.
I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington Cadet on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington Cadet By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
