Description:
Charming Italian lady. I bought her for 10 Euros (ten) a few days ago. Her name says that she was not defeated and that's right - She was very dusty but in perfect conditions! Some surface rust on chrome parts, O.K. Nothing important.
But she's heavy - 15,6 kg. Heavier than my Continental Standard with 14,3 kg.
For more details please check some Italian web pages and blogs. There is somebody collecting all models of Invicta typewriters before the company was merged into Olivetti in 1938.

Collector with typewriter virus living in Austria. Fourty years ago typewriters were only standard office equipment for me. I was really glad to get my first but simple word processors in the early Eighties with delete, copy/paste and whatever wonderful functions. This fascination is over. Now I have returned to real mechanics.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Invicta 60 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Invicta Serial Number page and the Invicta 60 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
