Description:
I got this wonderful Remington 3B from a (reformed) key chopper in Blue Bell, PA, in January 2023. I had met "Jazz" a few years earlier when buying a half-dozen machines he decided not to turn into jewelry. Fortunately, he had looked up the 3B on Richard Polt's page, and decided that "it belonged in a museum," and so kept it out of the garage sales he and his wife had been having. The guy is pushing 90 and has an incredible life story, and I could listen to him for hours. Anyway, it was a delight when he finally called to let me know he was willing to part with the 3B, in addition to three other typewriters he had been holding onto.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 3B on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 3B By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
