Description:
A little cleaning and a fresh ribbon and this types like a beast.
It could use more cleaning, of course, but I wanted to get it working, as I saw others popping up and liked the font. Wanted to verify my model and its typeface.
It's beautiful! So clean and simple. Not what one would expect from Remington's "cheap" line of typewriters. But maybe that was a selling point.
This is a shift model with the full frame around the keys.
It's a wonderful typer, actually. For its age. It has a firm feel that I like, and I am a slow typer, so sheer speed isn't an issue.
Seriously, a really good feel. And solid. Quality manufacture.

I am a typewriter collector. I'm moving into a new phase; one where I am filling gaps and paying what's necessary to get what I want....
I know I take crappy photos. I just have an older iPhone and am impatient. When I get a real camera (or borrow one), I'll upload better ones.
The ironic thing is that I am a pretty good amateur photographer. My excuse is that I work in film almost exclusively....
