Description:
My preference is for Remington 6 through 12s, but these 16s always look great with a mirror finish. This one I got from a fellow collector from Harrisburg, PA in February 2022. I was surprised to find that this was the earliest 16 here on the database, and by far! 400117 apparently makes it the 116th to come off the assembly line (since the numbers started with 400001).

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 16 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 16 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
