Description:
I bought this 1930 Remington 12 from a professor in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2016. It came well-protected under a cover, and on the platen was a tear-off calendar date for Thursday, February 10, 1983... which was likely the last day which it was used by the previous owner's mother, who was a school teacher. It was a later model 12 with the left-hand carriage return lever, and didn't take too much time to get up and running again.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 12 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 12 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
