Description:
This is a rather unusual 12. Remington decaled it for the Columbian store Almacenes Mogellon, which was Columbia's first department store, It's pretty much the Columbian equivalent of Sears, at least in terms of the kind of things they sold. I just received it and did a quick cleaning, it basically works, but obviously has some repairs and tuning and deeper cleaning to do.

New collector with a penchant for offbeat models/brands and, conversely, the mundane models many overlook, if I have a personal connection or just find them interesting. Finding that collecting typewriters is like eating potato chips, you can't have just one! Also restorer of mechanical calcs, Vintage audio, and vintage computers.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 12 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 12 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
