Mountain scarlet, with the letter S in front of the serial number. S = scarlet? Has the Duco DuPont coloration on the front.

I decided that I wanted to find the one typewriter that I remembered my mom using to type my term papers in school. Even though we couldn't find it, I found that I enjoyed typewriters and started a collection. It extended to rescuing the ones in my parents' basement a week before it flooded.
I enjoy making machines work and especially like to use the Smith Premier typewriters.
