Description:
This machine has problems with it's ribbon gears so it doesn't advance well, and the carriage seems to stick sometimes. It had a seized main spring gear when it came in but I fixed it. The left door doesn't like staying closed either. The right shift key is also missing its insert and top for some reason. The tabulator works well.
Edit: When I loosened the mainspring during the initial testing and fixing I messed up the ribbon system and put the drawband on wrong. Both of which I have now fixed and seen that I was the reason for the carriage stopping and ribbon not advancing. The spring steel piece that interacts with the intermediate gear on the maingear was not interacting and the drawband was tripping a safety mechanism that stops the carriage from moving.
