Description:
I bought this 1922 Remington 11 in Boyertown, Pennsylvania in August of 2016. It needed a lot of work, and I stained the spacebar to match the mis-colored keytops. It has an elite typeface, so you can squeeze a lot of words onto the page. With the open-body construction (and hard platen), not only is it the workhorse of my office, but it can be incredibly loud: something my office neighbors up and down the hallway have reminded me on multiple occasions.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 11 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 11 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
