Description:
Simply known as the "Red Oliver," this 1920 Oliver 9 came into my possession as a dirty, partly disassembled box of parts in New Hope, PA in the fall of 2017. Over the ensuing months, I disassembled, stripped, cleaned, re-painted, and re-assembled the machine. It is now housed in Herman Price's collection at the Chestnut Ridge Typewriter Museum.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Oliver 9 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Oliver Serial Number page and the Oliver 9 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
