Description:
A very cool piece, especially for railroad collectors: embossed in the very iron frame itself is the designation that this machine was used by the Southern Railway Company (Norfolk Southern after 1982). It showed every bit of being used in a railroad yard--it wasn't nicotine or shellac that was coming off round after round of cleaning, but soot. Formerly of the Bob Aubert collection, Delran, NJ (July 2023).
