Description:
First 4-row "frontstrike visible" typewriter produced in Germany.
It has an 11 mm (7/16') ribbon, also according to
"Liste der Herstellungsdaten gangbarer Schreibmaschinen - 1941 Edition" (see age lists in library) although in the age list the narrow ribbon should have been replaced earlier at a lower serial number...
This model is equipped with a spaced type lever on the front (the typeface specimen has spaced type setting).

Collector with typewriter virus living in Austria. Fourty years ago typewriters were only standard office equipment for me. I was really glad to get my first but simple word processors in the early Eighties with delete, copy/paste and whatever wonderful functions. This fascination is over. Now I have returned to real mechanics.
