I bought this machine from the estate of a 95 year old veterinarian in Carrollton, IL 8/30/2025. It was in his 3rd floor attic. I wonder whether it was ever used?

I decided that I wanted to find the one typewriter that I remembered my mom using to type my term papers in school. Even though we couldn't find it, I found that I enjoyed typewriters and started a collection. It extended to rescuing the ones in my parents' basement a week before it flooded.

I enjoy making machines work and especially like to use the Smith Premier typewriters.
