I had to replace a missing capital U type slug. I will need to see what is going on with the capital C. Seems to be a skip. However, for now I got a nice type sample. :) Machine came with a base and a cover.

I decided that I wanted to find the one typewriter that I remembered my mom using to type my term papers in school. Even though we couldn't find it, I found that I enjoyed typewriters and started a collection. It extended to rescuing the ones in my parents' basement a week before it flooded.

I enjoy making machines work and especially like to use the Smith Premier typewriters.
