Description:
I am firmly convinced that Remington 6/7/8/9s are the most under-appreciated of the early typewriters. The consequence of this general sensibility is that I end up with more and more of these than I could ever get rid of! This fine specimen is from the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ (August, 2023). Even when in good shape, a Remington upstroke still needs a thorough and complete cleaning from head to toe!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 7 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 7 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
