Description:
I found this wide-carriage Remington Standard 8 from 1903 in a yoga/photography studio in Allentown, Pennsylvania in October of 2019. It has a D carriage and is in need of a thorough cleaning, as well as paper table and keylever shield, but otherwise is in good shape cosmetically. [Edit: Restored and functional as of January 2022.]

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 8 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 8 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
