Description:
My super heavy metal 1917 Remington Model 10 with Serial Number 71512. One wooden type bar broken. Not functioning. Needs repair badly. But it still looks superb, I should think.

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington 6 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington Serial Number page and the Remington 6 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
