Description:
This really early Hammond 2 came from the Bob Aubert collection of Delran, NJ (August, 2023). Bob had gotten around to partially disassembling it, refinishing the base (with new felt on the bottom, getting new rubber feet and new rubber feed rollers. What remained for me to do was to clean and rebuild it. In the end, it is a truly excellent specimen of a Hammond 2.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Hammond 2 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Hammond Serial Number page and the Hammond 2 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
