Description:
A find at an antique mall in mid-Michigan in Oct 2023. Nice & clean but no surprise for such a new machine. It has a very heavy feel when typing - easy for the fingers to get tired. I think I will leave it at our summer cottage for others in the family to use. T117

I have always enjoyed tinkering with mechanical "things". For a number of years my wife wanted an IBM Selectric, The machine she used many years ago as a secretary. In 2020 we found one at an auction and bought it for $15. It took another $150 for the typewriter repairman to get it working. That turned out to be T001 in our collection. In the beginning we bought whatever we found. Now I am concentrating on the portables rather than the older office machines. The collection is getting large and it is time to start posting on TWDB.
