Description:
#817
Normally I wouldn't buy another Chinese typewriter, but the platen was soft, It seemed to work well, and all the letters were in the proper place, the manual was included, and... it was a "pica" machine. I also found it to be a rather attractive design. Add to all that the fact that the price was so low, I added it to the collection, hoping to find a good home for it soon...
This is officially, the latest/newest typewriter in my collection...

A professor in college gave me the gift and appreciation of the letter form.
Typewriters are just little "print shops" for me.

I no longer mold young minds, by teaching art to high school students, everyday is a safari now...
In my spare time I own and operate an equal opportunity rescue shelter for all makes and models of typewriters that have been abandoned in the bottoms of closets.
No matter how many typewriters I am fortunate to be able to collect, my collection will not be as nice as Herman's...
