Description:
The Erika is a typewriter from the end of an era. This is one of the most advanced models of this brand. It has a 16-character LCD display for limited editing. It also has a memory of about 1 page. You can correct already written text, although it is not intuitive. You definitely need a manual.
The 3006 has an interchangeable typeface (daisy wheel). You can easily turn on bold, underline, right-align or center. Thanks to using the Mode key, several additional special characters were obtained.
A correction ribbon can be added to the cartridge. Then, writing becomes really fast and pleasant. You can write directly on paper or in memory (print one line at a time).

Typewriters were always around me. Some have been with me all my life. Others I saved from being thrown in the trash when the computer age came.
I'm not creating a museum. My typewriters are used. Rarely but regularly. Therefore, the collection is not large, and each machine has a Polish typeface.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Erika 3006 electronic on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Erika Serial Number page and the Erika 3006 electronic By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
