Description:
No Smith Corona XE 5200s on the database, so I'll add this one. It belonged to my dad's friend, Bob Bemens--whose name is written on the bottom--of Carroll, Iowa. It was given to me in December of 2025. I had a daisywheel wedge-slash-early word processor like this in my youth, so it has a very familiar feel to it, and it types surprisingly well.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona XE 5200 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona XE 5200 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
