Description:
This wonderful typewriter works like a charm, good key strokes, good return, and nice key feel. Punching out a letter feels fairly effortless. The spacebar has a pleasing travel, better than other Smith Corona models that I have used. It is obvious that this typewriter is built for economy. Inspection of the keys shows plastic roughness from manufacture, and the body construction is fully plastic. There is no removable lid to access the interior of the typewriter. The serial number was tucked between the carriage and main body.
This typewriter was found for 8 dollars while searching at a thrift store (goodwill) in Michigan.
