Description:
The Smith Corona 235 DLE is fantastically accurate and clean with its printing, but it loses some of the flair that older typewrites have. As someone who collects typewriters as an excuse to write letters, this unit is too clean and refined for my tastes. Finished sheets are so clean, it looks like they were printed from a word document!
This typewriter is typical of later electric typewriters with type wheels. It comes with many impressive features: bold writing, special characters, center aligned options, formatting, the ability to keep typing while the carriage returns, and a "word-erase" function. It even has a minute long factory preset sales pitch that it types automatically to expound its greatest features (press code-z).
