Description:
Series 2 model. By extrapolating Series 1 serial number data, I estimated this one was produced in '80 or '81. It's stodgy East German engineering combined with Italian verve, apparently the design result of a combined effort between Ettore Sottsass and Hans von Klier.
What looks to be a date code under the ribbon cover is enticing, but probably meaningless in determining when this machine was actually made.
