1986 Brother Charger 11 Serial # K63929534 1986 Brother Charger 11 typewriter, Serial # K63929534 Sid and Roxy's 1986 Brother Charger 11 typewriter. 2020-03-28 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Sid and Roxy: 1986 Brother Charger 11 Serial # K63929534 I'm figuring this is a 1986 Brother Charger 11. I know they last digit of the year is a 6 and that it was made in October. But I don't think it's a 1976 machine due to where Charger is on the front of the machine and that it is a correction model. We call this typewriter Trevin's typewriter as our nephew Trevin claims this typewriter as his. I will agree of the portables we let our nieces and nephews type on this in is probably the easiest to type on. It's a toss-up between this is the Royal Mercury for best travel typewriters that we own. We have some Olivetti's that would fit the bill and are better typers but they are a little more rare and harder to replace. If I see a brother for sale I'm always temped to buy it as they are simply good reliable typewriters.
