This is a 1982 Sears The Electric 2, manufactured for Sears by Nakajima ALL. The manufacture date is around late April early May as suggested by the print date on the included original manual of 050182. This machine’s name is “Christopher”.

Hi! I’m Ryan and I’m rather a novice when it comes to typewriter collecting. I have been interested in typewriters since I was in my early teens. My collection first started with a 1949 Smith Corona Silent my grandfather got me for $5 from a yard sale. I recently added a 1982 Sears The Electric 2 to my collection. My latest find is a 1949 Underwood Universal!
