Description:
This machine showed up in a local thrift shop, and I immediately scooped it up - I have a Classic 12, and a pair of Eaton VIkings that are all solid machines. This one is a later version of that same chassis, and though it is cheaper (more plastic), it is also still a solid typer, and a great first machine to work on. The only drawback is that the white seems to attract ink/dirt/scuffs.

I have been collecting typewriters all my life, starting with a 1980's Brother Charger 11 (which I no longer have, but have replaced with an identical machine). I have well over 60 typewriters now, with a few rare portables. Some are interesting or odd, but most of mine are common machines.
My wife and I have made a deal, that I can keep buying typewriters if she can keep buying shoes. Fair enough! *shrugs*
