The typeface sample was typed with a dried up ribbon and the contrast/brightness had to be edited digitally to make it legible, otherwise the type looks clean and well aligned. Pica typeface.

Trouble dating the year, judging from the other Ten-Fourty's here I'm guessing a 1970's model but if anybody has a better estimate that would help.
