Description:
A decent typer with a plastic body (on a cast metal frame) and, unusually, this one has a ribbon cover that swings up and forward like the Smith-Corona Galaxies. Classy. Tabs are set from the keyboard, though the lever is not obvious.
The case is sewn vinyl over cardboard stiffeners, with a working zipper closure.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
