Description:
Antares Compact 23 typewriter with Greek keyboard. It is made in Italy, the same typewriter as the Underwood 22 and the Antares 223 without the tab. A good looking machine, typical 70's Olivetti-styled design, but the shell is all made of low quality plastic, with weak and noisy mechanics as well.

Writer and blogger from Athens, Greece. I own a small collection of typewriters, most of my machines are functional and I try to repair any with problems that keeps it from typing. For me, it is important for a typewriter not just to sit on a shelve for display, but to be able to type when I want to. On the links below you will find my blogs and social media profiles. Feel free to follow me and get in touch if you want. I am always happy to communicate :)
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Antares Compact 23 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Antares Serial Number page and the Antares Compact 23 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
