Description:
No info on serial numbers for this, but I know it's a '70s machine. I can't honestly remember where I got it, but considering what it is, I know I didn't pay much. I have a line on a 378 as well, so they'll be displayed side-by-side.
Metal frame, enclosed in plastic. It's based on the Lettera models, so it's got a decent typing action. Once I replace the ribbon, it could be a daily typer. I hate to say it, but I love the styling of this and the 378.
Just put on your leisure suit and white shoes and have a ball.
And I got the manual! Lucky boy....

I am a typewriter collector. I'm moving into a new phase; one where I am filling gaps and paying what's necessary to get what I want....
I know I take crappy photos. I just have an older iPhone and am impatient. When I get a real camera (or borrow one), I'll upload better ones.
The ironic thing is that I am a pretty good amateur photographer. My excuse is that I work in film almost exclusively....
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood 319 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood 319 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
