I bought this typewriter as a gift for a good friend (that is why I add it here as "not in my collection") through Facebook Marketplace. Impressive blue color on its plastic body and case, basic QWERTY keyboard, no Tab, no touch control and a simple ribbon mechanism also made from plastic. This machine is fun to use and has everything that one expects from a late 70's or early 80's Silver Reed, very lightweight, reliable mechanism and a very nice typeface, yet in a cheapest package. It can perfectly serve as a first typewriter for any new user. Hope my friend enjoys it.
