Description:
I got this Monica about a year ago to dip my toe into the SM9 game. It is very similar to the new body SM9, including the basket shift but without touch control or tab stops. This was very dirty and doesn't advance the carriage correctly, but has a true metal body instead of the mostly plastic Triumph I have from the same time period. I have since bought a true SM9 so I will hold this for parts but thought I would attempt to get a type sample. It is a common Pica but the annoying carriage/escapment issues keep it from being used.
